Now as i received the necessary materials for creating moulds of all the other different Mako-Castings, i started over that weekend.
Means, Mako-Factory starts over with production.

Here the 2 first castings. It came out in a bright shine, no seams on the outer casting surface. Ready for primer and paint.

Revised a bit the shape of the Mako. Before i watched hour after hour different photos from real Makos to have the shape burned in my memory.
Then began to raise the fenders in front and the back. Made the front-tip a bit longer and added flares to the fenders.
Now i´m pretty happy with the overall look. Looks much more agresiv now. Placed for better comparison the older burgundy one.

Ok, thank you for your advice. I'll be careful with the decals in creating mold. may be I varnish before. And no problem for trades.
For Rosier, it's a shame and stupid that you are not able to deliver you. But I'll try and we can compare the materials and results.
Finally, thank you for the wheels, I am waiting for your news, many friends customizers are very interested.

It´s no problem with the silikon. It wont damaged the colour, but coulod be a problem with the decals. When they just raise a little bit it can be seen later on every Resin-Copy.
And yeah, would be cool to get a Casting from yoour Wagons. May we can swap some to see what the other is doing with it. I wanted to order this week the kit at Rosier´s, but what a shame. They didn´t wanted to deliver into Romania. Finally ordered in Germany some Silikon and Resin. Cause want to pull a mould from the other wider Makos i did.

Ahh sorry, allmost forgot. The wheels are from 1/64-MAISTO cars.
Still waiting on mine that they turn in from USA. Keep you updated on that.

it would be nice. but if you do not have time, I'll try to make a mold, I can send you a copy in resin. I will order soon the molding kit.
Do take the imprint of the model, damaging the paint or decoration?
